BOLD joined forces with the Hispanic Heritage Scholarship Fund (HHSF) to execute a complete organizational rebrand. HHSF has worked for 22 uninterrupted years awarding scholarships to students with Hispanic roots of different generations in Central Florida.
Two months ago, we were selected by the organization’s board of directors to redesign its brand identity and develop a new website, communication, and digital marketing strategy. “Their extensive knowledge of the Hispanic market and experience working with nonprofits made them the ideal agency to carry out this project. This included a change in the entire visual identity and a total revamp of our website,” stated Carolin Requiz Smith, M.S., Executive Director of the Hispanic Heritage Scholarship Fund.
Throughout the rebranding process, our creative team interviewed the board of directors, students, sponsors, and volunteers to understand what they envisioned, the purpose, and the ultimate goal they hoped to achieve.
“It was crucial that everyone who had daily involvement in the organization felt identified. The research and interviews were fundamental as they allowed us to gain a good grasp of their needs, while allowing them to feel included throughout the entire branding process that we developed together,” stated our Creative Director, Siling Rea.
“This rebrand has been an exciting transformational process for us. As we grew, the logo no longer captured the essence of who we were at our core. It was a collaboration among board members, students, sponsors, and the Bold team.” stated Hispanic Heritage Scholarship Fund Executive Director, Carolin Requiz Smith. She also commented on the relevance of the new brand identity, which reinforced the organization’s vision while focusing on being agents of change, conveying the essence of Hispanic culture, and representing the future leaders of the Hispanic community.
The new branding brings a professional and innovative look to the organization. Now more than ever, HHSF represents the future of the new generations of Hispanic students who will receive scholarship benefits.
HHSF unveiled its new brand at the 2022 HHSF Awards Ceremony, where 33 outstanding Central Florida students were recognized with scholarships. This announcement marks another milestone in the evolution of HHSF.
