Before BOLD was an agency, it was a question:
Why are Hispanic communities still being overlooked?
Ana Carolina Salazar, our founder and CEO, began her career in Hispanic media. At Univision, she saw how vital information wasn’t reaching Hispanic audiences, not because they didn’t care, but because the messaging wasn’t created with them in mind.
Later, at Prospera, she saw the opposite: Hispanic entrepreneurs flourishing when supported with culturally tailored tools and guidance. It was clear. When culture is centered, growth follows.

After earning her Master’s in Digital Marketing in Barcelona, Ana returned to Orlando ready to launch her vision.
Her father, her first and most loyal supporter, encouraged her to take the leap. With his help, she joined the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and began promoting her services.
With Prospera’s support, she refined her business plan, accessed key grants, and stepped into her purpose.
Ana started as a digital marketing consultant, helping Hispanic small businesses shape their brand presence, create bilingual messaging, and grow their online visibility with confidence.
In 2019, Ana officially launched BOLD Digital Marketing Studio.
A small but mighty agency helping businesses develop a bold online presence, powerful branding, and authentic storytelling.
But in 2020, just one year in, the pandemic hit, and BOLD lost most of its clients.
Instead of closing the doors, Ana looked inward. With guidance from her mentor, Michael Queralt, she asked the hard question: “What makes us different?”
The answer: her story, her roots, her ability to connect brand strategy to lived experience, and her belief that culture was the missing piece.
From that clarity, BOLD Hispanic Marketing Agency was born.
Today, BOLD is a trusted partner to brands like AdventHealth, United Way, OUC, Orlando Magic, Prospera, and more.
We help brands move from translation to transformation, offering research, messaging, creative guidance, and cultural strategy that drives relevance, trust, and results.
But we never forgot our roots.
In 2025, we launched Digital Studio powered by BOLD, a dedicated line of business for small businesses and entrepreneurs. After years of working with major brands, we knew: others deserve access to the same strategy and storytelling that helped us grow.
If we could do it, others can too, with the right guidance and grit.
BOLD is proudly Latina-owned, minority-certified, and rooted in community.
With early support from Prospera and the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Metro Orlando, we’ve grown from a one-woman consultancy into an award-winning agency.
Recognized with the Don Quijote Award for Hispanic Business of the Year, multiple Orlando Business Journal honors including Diversity in Business and Women Who Mean Business, and national visibility from Marquis Who’s Who and Hello Alice.
