BOLD Digital Marketing Receives a Platinum badge and 100% Compliance Level in Blue Wave Supplier Development Program
Orlando, FL – BOLD Digital Marketing, a woman and minority-owned business specializing in digital marketing solutions, has made significant strides in the supplier diversity world. BOLD recently completed the first-ever Blue Wave Supplier Development program and achieved 100% compliance and a Platinum badge. This program helps small and mid-sized suppliers in developing countries understand the international standards required by large global companies, allowing them to compete for higher added-value projects with large corporations.
As a minority-owned business committed to promoting supplier diversity, BOLD joined the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce in 2022. Its CEO and Founder, Ana Carolina Salazar, learned about this program after attending the USHCC National Conference in Phoenix. There she met Alma Del Toro and Eduardo Nunez, Co-Founders of Blue Wave International. BOLD was later selected to participate in the Blue Wave Supplier Development Program after being nominated by JPMorgan Chase and the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (USHCC).
BOLD’s participation in this program allowed them to delve into a series of regulatory aspects that companies in the U.S. must comply with, including cybersecurity, quality, environment, and governance, among others. As a result, BOLD became part of the first cohort that participated and graduated from the program. After five months of hard work, BOLD graduated with 100% compliance and received a platinum badge thanks to Blue Wave’s support and the internal policies and procedures previously established by the company.
“We’re incredibly proud to have achieved a 100% compliance level and be recognized for our commitment to excellence. This experience has been invaluable for our company’s growth and development. We are beyond grateful to Blue Wave, the USHCC, JPMorgan Chase, and all those who made this possible,” stated Salazar.
Various organizations have nurtured BOLD’s journey in the world of supplier diversity. Last year, Ana Carolina also completed the Supplier Diversity Capacity Building Academy, hosted by the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Metro Orlando. This 10-month training program was designed to help entrepreneurs connect with large corporations and government entities. BOLD became part of the first group of entrepreneurs in Central Florida to receive the training.
BOLD also participated in the FSMSDC Minority Business Conference this past week and is grateful to José Nido, Vice President, Global Supplier Diversity, Travel + Leisure Co., for sponsoring our attendance at this conference.
